We teach students how to think — not what to think.

YoTeach.me is an Australian-built AI tutoring platform for students in Years 6–12. The tutor never gives the answer; it guides every student to their own answer through questions, hints, and confirmations — the Socratic method, delivered through voice and chat.

What we build

A voice-first tutoring service aligned to the Australian Curriculum and NSW HSC. Students can talk to the tutor or type to it, photograph a worksheet for the tutor to read, and pick up a flash-card review on the same problem the next day. Parents see every session in their dashboard — full transcripts, time spent, subjects covered.

Why Socratic

Conventional homework help apps hand out answers. That gets a problem off a child's desk, but it doesn't teach reasoning. The Socratic method does the opposite: it slows a student down at exactly the right step and asks the next question they'd have to answer themselves. Our AI tutor is constrained — at the system-prompt level — to never state the direct answer. When a student asks for the answer, it offers the next step of the reasoning chain instead.

Who runs YoTeach.me

YoTeach.me is operated by Diafani Technologies Pty Ltd (ABN 87 696 696 287), a private company registered in New South Wales, Australia. We're a small Australian team building for Australian students and their families. Subscriptions are billed in Australian Dollars and the service is supported during Australian business hours.

How we treat data

We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Student voice audio is transcribed in real time and discarded — never stored. Session transcripts are retained for 12 months and deletable on request. Our AI sub-processors don't train on session content under our commercial terms. For schools
